Description: We have had a increase in hit and run type car accidents near 48 Lawrence Ave, in the past week we have had 2 accidents happen where one hit the street pole/light and then another that crashed onto the side walk into a parked car (all have 911 calls for record). As this is a residence area with a school (Martin Luther KIng School) up the street this is very scary and causing alot of worry. I dont know if there is a way to put a guard rail where the light pole is in front of 48 Lawrence Ave to help prevent people from hitting the pole and it falling. Or even some speed humps right before your turn onto Lawrence Ave from Nomandy Street. Many cars speed on that street and take very sharp turns on Lawrence Ave which cause accidents. Thank you.
