- Sidewalk has heaved up and cracked, and has created a very dangerous situation. Many people have fallen and been injured, including elderly and children. This problem has existed for many years and has been ignored. A couple of times they have come and put asphalt down, but that does not address the underlying issue. The tree causing this problem should be removed and the sidewalk repaired.

Noted. It is against state law for a live and healthy public shade tree be removed for the reasons given. Public works noted that the property owner would not allow PWD to put down asphalt to make sidewalk safe. The trees will not be removed.
