- Please pass the following information along to Mayor Wu’s office regarding the protests at the Park Plaza, which are negatively impacting the rights, health, and wellbeing of residents. City officials and BPD are willing to enforce noise ordinances when it comes to their own homes, but will not stand up for residents who can no longer live in their homes near the Park Plaza. https://www.boston.gov/news/mayor-wu-files-ordinance-regarding-targeted-residential-picketing “Public protests at people’s homes must have reasonable limits. These demonstrations are not only causing stress to the families of elected officials, it is also hurting their neighbors, many of whom are seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans and young children,” said Boston City Council President Ed Flynn. “Now is the time to come together as a city and country to treat each other with empathy, respect and dignity.” | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Quality of Life] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]
