- Please upgrade the signals to give green line trains priority over traffic at the intersections! I drive right now and today as I made a series of protected left turns across Comm Ave (at Cummington Mall and then one block later at St Mary’s St), the same train had to wait with a red light at both intersections while I had the green to cross the tracks. I appreciate the protected left signals, but the train with tens of people on it should absolutely not have to wait at every intersection for 1-3 drivers to cross. It should not be faster for me to make two lefts across Comm Ave in my car than for the green line train to make it one block. The trains should get to go first!
