Invalid. Thank you for reaching out about this. The City is not obligated to prune tree limbs that are not diseased and/or hazardous. Similarly, the City is not liable for bird waste, fallen leaves, and other natural events related to healthy trees. This is not legal advice and there are resources online to learn more about "tree law" in Massachusetts. The particular tree closest to the sidewalk and driveway has been pruned twice in the past two years and should probably be left to heal properly before any additional pruning. The most recent pruning was done by the utility company or their contractor for utility line clearance. This is much more pruning than these trees typically receive.
