- I recently purchased this property and called the city to report my concern about this overgrown tree in front of the property the roots are taking over the sidewalk lifting every single concrete including the one on my doorstep, LIFTING MY MAIN ENTRY DOOR and posing a tripping hazard for pedestrians. Just last night, I witnessed a woman passing by tripped and fell because of it. On Monday, January 6th, I contacted the city, and the person I spoke with assured me that someone would come out that same day or the next day to take a picture. However, no one showed up. When I reached out to the previous owner about this and told him I called the CITY; he laughed and mentioned that he had been dealing with the city about the same problem for some time. Does anyone care? From the 19 complaints on this page, it seems like no one does. If this were a different neighborhood, I'm sure the response would be different. The tree is causing damage to my property, and the cracks on the concrete are now reaching my door steps lifting my door WCHIH MEANS THE ROOTS ARE GETTING UNDER THE MAIN ENTRANCE. THE CITY needs to take action.
