Description: I wanted to share some concerning information that I just received. It pertains to the safety of our residents, visitors and the young adults in South Boston. I was just informed that a bartender at Tom English's Cottage was recently indicted and arrested on rape charges as well as other sex crimes. I find this to be both disturbing and alarming, especially coming in the wake of another rape and sexual assault that occurred in our community a couple of weeks ago. To have someone in this position where alcohol and young adults are involved is a dangerous mix and a recipe for disaster. I wanted to alert our residents of this danger.
