Description
Good morning - I wanted to reach out regarding parking on Hollingsworth Street in Mattapan where George Lopes Funeral Home is located. This street provides parking for those of us who take the commuter rail, but recently, I’ve noticed that signs and cones are being placed to block off spaces next to the funeral home. I completely understand the need for reserved parking during wakes or funerals, but this seems to be happening all the time, limiting parking in an area that already has very few options. I wanted to check—are they allowed to do this? The attached photo was taken this morning.
