Description
Sending as FYI My name is K. Smith and I work at the Bowdoin Street Health Center. This morning around 9:30, I was on my way into work and I encountered a severely, emaciated female pit bull who was around 10 years old. She had very long nails, was unbathed (odorous), and was very hungry. I ended up driving her to Angell MSPCA Hospital in Jamaica Plain. I dropped her off around 10:30 this morning. Like I said, I work at Bowdoin Street Health Center. One of our patients came in and stated that she saw dogs on Olney Street (2 streets over from the health center), and said they were in very bad shape. She said that there were closer to 11 dogs - this was what the registration desk told me when I returned to work. The woman stated that one of them escaped, presumably the one I brought to Angell Memorial Hospital. Please feel free to call me at 617-69-3699. I'm hoping that if the homeowner is in the system, those dogs can be rescued. | Case (SR) Type: [Animal Care & Control] Referred To: [ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL ADMIN]
