Description
The health department received a complaint about the alley behind Al dente and Benevento on Salem Street. We are requesting a joint inspection for Friday the 9th at 9:30 1) The dumpsters are continually open and infested with rats. They eat butter packets and bring them all the way to my back roof and rooftop terrace. When tables were set up a couple of weeks ago,my professional set rat boxes were removed. Regardless of how many times ISD talk to the restaurant owners it goes on deaf ears and there is no penalty. 2) The alley way serves the right of way for the handicapped to access our elevator that serves Boston barber and tattoo. The dining tables prevent access for those wishing to use the elevator. We have lived in the North End for 15+ years and never had rats invade our personal outdoorspace We are out thousands of dollars as we have had to have our plants, flowers, and pots removed but we can no longer use our outdoor space.
