- Property conditions interfere with sidewalk passage | Details: [I'm writing to raise a concern regarding the sidewalk next to the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston Bayside (240 Mt Vernon St, Boston, MA 02125). The row of bushes along the hotel's property line has become severely overgrown, extending into the sidewalk and significantly narrowing the pedestrian pathway. > > As shown in the attached photos, the obstruction forces people to step off the sidewalk and into the bike lane or street when the walkway is busy. This creates a hazardous condition for pedestrians, especially for those using wheelchairs, pushing strollers, or walking with children. > > This situation violates public right-of-way and accessibility standards, as sidewalks are public spaces meant to remain clear for safe and unobstructed passage. Property owners are responsible for maintaining adjacent sidewalks and vegetation in compliance with city regulations. >]
