- I just enjoyed a swim in JP's Curtis Hall pool and came out to find that my car has been towed. It was parked in one of three spaces clearly marked at 20 South Street in front of the Community Center. There are no street cleaning signs on this side of the street and my car was towed for street cleaning. I have called the police department, they city of Boston Towing Department, and the Department of Public Utilities and no one will tell me how to contest the ticket and tow fee. I have put in a 311 to have signs put on this side of the street. As a resident of JP for 20 years, I know how to park for street cleaning and move my car every week in front of my own home. To not have signs in such a valuable parking area is egregious. Thanks for helping fix what is thankfully a minor inconvenience to me today, but could really wreck someone's day. Also, Curtis Hall is amazing and the staff there are wonderful.
