- Description
- At the north end on the west side of the bridge, by the railing post that says 2000, there is a large triangular sinkhole in the sidewalk. The concrete is still in place but is shifting downward, with the gap increasing noticeably in recent weeks. It's a bit alarming, as I'm not sure what's under this sidewalk segment -- it's right next to a round grated drain cover. It's also creating a major tripping hazard. There is an orange cone near it, but I was unable to move the cone into the sinkhole as it seems to be anchored. The cone indicates that the location may be on a repair list, but I think it needs to be expedited. |
