Description: Elliott Innovation School on Commercial Street is using a public parking lot as their own by locking the parking lot gate in the last week. The North End needs that parking in general for tennis, ice skating, pool, park, swimming and parking for residents. The school possibly says you have to be out by 6 am. but they now have locked the gate so it is not usable at all. I have parked there for 5 years on and off and leave by 7 am. This has not been a problem to leave by 7 am and there are usually only a few cars when I come at 7. The cafetaria staff comes the earliest I think during the school year. This is a problem in the North End recently when people are using public property as their own by locking a gate and/or using orange cones create private parking spaces and to their benefit and prevent the public from parking.
