- Water has been leaking from the ceiling of my apartment since 8/14, and has gotten exponentially worse as of 8/20. Despite constant contact with my landlord to get repairs done or even a timeline, she has been unable to reach, asking us to clean up the mess and overall shows no interest in the unsanitary and uninhabitable effects this water is causing. The ceilings in our living room and bedroom are entirely soaked making us worried about mold, and the bedroom ceiling has cracks in it and sagging plaster, worrying us that it will fall with the next rain. Our landlord has offered zero remedy for this, and we seem to be left to our own devices to figure this out, as it seems it will be the new normal. We are unable to use a bedroom and the living room in our apartment, and are worried about what will happen when it rains next.
