Case Noted. This intersection has a new timing. The exclusive has been changed to a concurrent pedestrian sequence. This signal is designed in conformance with BTD Guidelines which specify a system of walk lights in conformance with federal safety standards and widely used throughout the country. Under this system it is possible to provide longer "Walk" times and shorter delays to vehicles and pedestrians. During the green light for vehicles "Walk" signals are on for pedestrians crossing parallel to the flow of traffic. Under this system turning traffic must yield to pedestrians.
