- On August 8th, my car was ticketed and towed for allegedly blocking a handicap ramp. However, the citation listed the address as 78 Weaver Way, while my car was actually parked across the street at 75 Weaver Way, where no ramp exists. Despite this mistake, I had to pay both the ticket ($100) and towing fees ($200). This has been very frustrating and discouraging, especially since I’ve tried to resolve the issue through normal channels without success as I didn’t have the photo evidence for my initial hearing which resulted in denial of my case. I would appreciate if Mayor Wu could review this and ask the parking clerk to take another look. Much more evidence including my ticket and towing receipt are available if necessary! This is a clear example of negligence in terms of the city of Boston and the BPD.
