Damaged Sign

Description: This is a follow up for a case that was closed 6 months ago. The case number is 101005618703. The case was closed stating that "NO STOPPING" signage would be added. The sign has not been added. Please add it, it is critical it is added soon now that school has started and children are walking in the area. Here is the original request: There used to be a "No Stopping" here (see Google maps street view screenshot from one year ago). It is no longer there and needs to be replaced as cars park too close to the intersection and crosswalk, which makes it very dangerous for pedestrians as traffic on Chestnut Hill Ave cannot see them if a car is parked here. There are two elementary schools in the area plus Brighton Common, and people frequently use this crosswalk. Boston traffic laws state that cars cannot park within 20 feet of an intersection. Please replace the no stopping sign so that it is 20 feet from the intersection. Cars come quickly up Chestnut Hill Ave and may not be able to see people crossing the street with the current parking situation.
