Description: Dear Mayor Wu, Now that you've seen the results from the polls for the primary, you can see that the vast majority of the voters in Aberdeen support you and want you to continue to be our mayor. Please remember our support and consider addressing one of the major issues in the neighborhood, Beacon Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue. Both roads are unsafe for everyone because of unsafe design and deteriorated infrastructure. We understand that good design takes time and community input, and we are ready to continue to participate in the process to see these roads redesigned to be safer for all. In the immediate term though, please fund the reconstruction of the existing roadway to address the immediate hazards that impact cyclists and pedestrians: a lack of roadway markings and dangerously uneven and degraded pavement.
