- Smells from the trash chute room are entering our apartment through the walls. Odors are coming through holes where the pipes come out of the wall for the bathroom sink, around the medicine cabinet, and through tiny gaps where an electrical box is in the coat closet. We (tenants) have taped up the areas and tried to fix the gaps as best as possible.
