Recent responses to 311 requests describe signal and traffic patterns meant to ensure "pedestrian compliance". How are drivers being held accountable? Have you all seen how brazen drivers are, running red lights and cutting in front of pedestrians who are using crosswalks on walk signals? This city needs a No Turn On Walk law, otherwise the "concurrent signals" are just putting people's lives at risk.

Case Resolved. The Boston Transportation Is Well aware of the numerous movement violations that occur throughout Boston. That being said, they are the responsibility of the Police Department(BPD) to enforce. The changes made to traffic signal patterns are designed to improve visibility for all road users, and to disincentivize illegal crossings, which put pedestrians in the greatest amount of danger.
