- 🤬😡 ATTENTION: EVERSOURCE, CITY OF BOSTON BOSTON PUBLIC WORKS RESURFACING DIVISION; AND CHIEF OF STREETS JASCHA HODGE-FRANKLIN jascha.franklinhodge@boston.gov On behalf of the Uphams Corner Community, EVERSOURCE or appropriate entity, could you please come and resurface eversource manhole cover. It's causing the disturbance it's affecting our quality of life in the area. It's not quite clearly illustrated here, however this manhole cover is raised a little from the street and every time an empty dump truck, the large mail carrier truck, vehicles that have trailers most of them they're picked up from home Depot down the street there are plenty passing pass this area, ( thank God for growth in the city); when all the above strike this EVERSOURCE MANHOLE, it causes either a thundering boom, wild jiggling bumping and crashing noises. There are times that certain trucks hit that raised manhole cover and it sounds like gunshots or bombs. We live in the Inner City ( I just dislike that word along with the word minority)and the majority of us have some form of PTSDs from guns. I have a veteran in our building who sometimes is awakened by these loud thunderous noises. EVERSOURCE THIS WOULD BE THE SECOND 311 COMPLAINT AND REQUEST FOR SERVICES. Please come give this community some peace. ✌🏿
