- Dear Ms. Baker-Eclipse, I am writing you about Parkman Playground on Wachusett St. in Jamaica Plain. The playground was renovated and beautifully landscaped a few years ago. Everything is growing well, except for some beautiful shrubs that were overrun by an invasive vine. Parks Maintenance removed the vine, but several of the shrubs are dead. Could you have them replaced? They are called Rockspray Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster horizontalis). The ones that were not overrun by the vine are doing fine. They’re so beautiful, we’d really appreciate if you could plant a few new ones. Thank you very much.
