- I'm a Boston Public Schools teacher. School buses, specifically bus b172, are routinely cancelled with an hour or less notice. This leaves teachers scrambling to coordinate pick-up of children with parents, who are either disrupted from their jobs or put in other extremely difficult and stressful scenarios to find transportation for their children.
