Pothole

Description: This issue has been reported to several City Hall liaison reps for East Boston over the past year! The Street is sinking in front of 202-204. It is not a pot hole, although there are many cracks in the street. Because the road is sinking when it rains or snows a large puddle forms. In the winter the melting snow mixes with the salt the City puts down. My car gets covered with the splash over from this salty mixture to the point it appears to be white. It took the finish off my old car's windshield wipers. I got a new car in February and the splash over continued to hit my new car. The city liaison actually saw it in person and was shocked. I was told in February nothing would get done until the spring. I was then told by a new liaison, Roberto, that it was on the "list". I tried to follow up with him twice after he told me this and left messages, but he never returned my calls! I since learned he left that position. I was advised bt City Councilor Colleta's office to submit this to 311. This summer I came close to falling in this area due to the sinking Street. I caught myself in time before actually hitting the ground. This is getting to be a hazardous condition. I am attaching photos but think it would be better realized in person since I can only attach 3!
