- Description
- Salem street in Charlestown is too small a street and the turn on the top too tight for large trucks and buses to come up. They end up getting stuck just about every 3rd day and then try reversing out of the street downhill. This Saturday morning a bus got stuck and had to reverse down at 7am which of course woke up anyone on the street who was asleep. When the trucks have to reverse out they typically damage a car on the way down. Our car was damaged by a school bus coming up the street two weeks ago. Can the city put up a sign at the bottom of the street (corner of Main Street and Salem) which limits weight of vehicles or says no trucks or buses?
