- I would like to report an incident that occurred today involving the misuse of an EV-designated charging parking spot. A man who does not drive an electric vehicle parked in the EV charging space. When I approached him and let him know that I needed to charge my electric car, he told me he “needed a parking spot” and that there was “nothing he could do,” refusing to move his vehicle. His actions prevented me from accessing the charger that is specifically reserved for EV drivers. This behavior is discourteous and violates the intended use of the designated EV charging spaces. I am requesting that management please address this issue and remind residents/visitors of the rules for EV charging spots, including possible enforcement measures to prevent this from happening again.
