- Description
- Recent curb cut (at 125 Bartlett but facing Walker Street) creates an unsafe parking situation and is not being used as off street parking because of this. - Vehicles entering or exiting the space face difficulty making left turns due to the narrow street geometry of Walker Street. - A street light pole at 46 Walker Street has been struck by vehicles in the past. It remains directly in the vehicle turning path, increasing the risk of damage and injury. - The installed fence gates swing outward toward the sidewalk and roadway, which creates a pedestrian conflict point and obstructs the sidewalk. It appears to have been done this way since the parking area is not large enough to have the doors swing inwards while cars are parked there.
