- Hi, We rented a home using VRBO from October 16 to 19, 2025. As soon as we entered the house, we smelled a combination of sewage, mildew, and or mold. I complained to Vrbo, but I don't think they will do much. I suspect, based on the fact that the thermostat was not maintained properly, that the owner seldom visits the property. Anyway, I hate the idea of other people paying so much money for a home in this condition.
