- Description
- My neighbor has installed very bright security flood lights that now light up our bedroom, dinning room and living at night. I called the city about this but was told the city doesn't do anything about that. Why does the city have an "Ordinance on Security Lights" that does have regulations regarding outdoor lighting to address light pollution. he ordinance aims to reduce light pollution, improve nighttime visibility, and ensure that outdoor lighting does not negatively impact the environment or community. Property owners must ensure that their security lights comply with the city's standards. This includes using fixtures that minimize glare and light trespass. Our neighbors security lights clearly violate the ordnance.
