Description: We are renting an apartment (11 Fayette St #1) in Boston that is ground floor and basement. The master bedroom is in the basement and has a door that opens to the backyard. However, the tiny backyard is walled in by a very tall fence that has no doors or gates - meaning there is no actual egress. I would love to know if this is legal and if not how to get it rectified.
