Unfortunately, as "light residential outdoor equipment" they are not subject to the Air Pollution Control Commission noise regulations. You may suggest several things to the constituents when they call: 1. Approach his/her neighborhood association about setting neighborhood standards for yard equipment use and/or the type that should be used (e.g. electric leaf blowers, which are considerably less loud). 2. Consult with his/her neighborhood services coordinator who can be found at https://www.boston.gov/departments/neighborhood-services. 3. Talk with your local Community Services Police Officer.
