- Re: Property tax increase. In order to have a place to live due to property tax increase, I survived on sugar for the year, no t.v., internet or phone. In addition, not accessing medical care etc. There is no more things that can be cut. It is sad that Boston is not for everyone. In the last six years since Covid, things have gotten progressively worse....who would ever have thought a person's entire income does not even cover rent because the landlord just passes the increase on. Now I am looking at no place to live for the winter. This is unacceptable.
