- Good morning, This is a friendly reminder to Public Works/ contractors to please ensure all salt spreaders are properly adjusted and calibrated. Salt application must be limited to the roadway only. Misaligned or excessive spreading can throw salt onto private properties and cause damage to masonry, concrete, brickwork etc. Thank you for your cooperation in protecting adjacent properties while maintaining safe roads and please stay safe.
