DEC 11, 2025 ... Someone from the inspection dept was supposed to come out 12/10/25 and failed to appear after I waited up all night. BOSTON CITY EMPLOYEE Y. THOMAS FROM INSPECTION DEPT was on the phone with repair staff from the apt building while refusing to come out and TOLD ME THAT she had tried to call me that night and I never answered, that's a lie. She then told me that THEY HAD COME OUT TO MY RESIDENCE 12/11/25 TO DO AN INSPECTION WHEN THEY HAD NOT. NO ONE CALLED ME AT THE NUMBER I PROVIDED NOR CAME TO ME UNIT. I CALLED BACK 12/11/25 to the inspection dept and was told that SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT here tHE SAME DAY and THAT pERSON THAT CAME OUT WAS A. Pena, housing inspector. Pena told me he was gonna have to pass my unit even though he was told by me that the heater was only providing heat 2 and half times a day for about 45 minutes each time within a 24 hour period. When Pena checked the vent with his hand, no heat was coming out the heater vent at all as it should have been because the unit was on full power. He checked with a temp tool and got no immediate results and told me that he would have to come back when all my portable heaters were turned off for a while and he could get a true temp reading from the heater, again he never addressed the fact that the heater it self doesn't stay ON LONG ENOUGH to heat anything correctly nor did he address the fact that the air conditioning is coming on after the heat goes off. My unit should not have passed at all because I had 2 portable heaters (the heaters were provided by management due to them being fully aware that heating issues were present and they still didn't want to fix the unit, they kept saying that the heater got hot but it doesn't stay hot at all the air conditioning comes on and stays on instead of the heat) running when he came out that he mentioned were illegal to use along with my oven that was running after my cooking session. If your staff knew that was illegal and that was supplying my heat then he should have failed the unit for no heat. I need another inspection done asap and I want the two inspection employees mentioned in this email written up for tryna treat me like a severe mental health nutcase or retard when that's not the case. No landlord, their staff/residents nor agency has any personal info on me in regards to my health or mental health conditions (which I suffer from no severe mental health illness and told no one anything like that) that's related to housing, no one knows me at all personally from your agency or any housing agency related or my apt building,, so that totally disrespectful to treat me in that manner.
