- Cars speeding up a one way street! Huntington Ave @ Thatcher to Huntington Ave @ Collins Ave is a one way street EVERY SINGLE DAY there are cars speeding from Collins Ave. Every day there is a near collision. I don’t know what the solution is but it’s extremely dangerous for those just trying to go the CORRECT way. A speed bump would be great as well

BTD has investigated and the ONE-WAY and DO NOT ENTER signage on Huntington Ave is visible for driver's to see coming from Collins St and Clare Ave. If vehicles are still going the wrong way this is an enforcement issue please contact Boston Police Department for resolution. Also Huntington Ave, Collins St and Clare Ave are all slated to receive speed humps in the next few years based on our criteria. We evaluated each area for its safety history, demographics (higher numbers of children, older adults, and people with a disability), if there are parks, schools, community centers nearby, plans for repaving and ramp construction, and needs otherwise identified by the residents of the neighborhood.
