Location of Incident: SNAX Express, 209 Essex Street, Boston, MA 02111 Date(s) and Time of Incident: - Purchase: 12/11/2024 - Return attempts: 12/15, 12/16, 12/19 - Final incident: 12/19/2024, approx. 4:05 PM – 4:15 PM Individuals Involved: - Cashier: Titto (as listed on receipt) - Female cashier (names unknown) Description of Issue: I purchased a travel-sized tube of Crest toothpaste on 12/11. I attempted to return it on 12/15 and 12/16 but was told I could only return it to the cashier who sold it. On 12/19, the female cashier said Titto would be present starting at 2:00 PM. I returned that afternoon, and Titto refused to process the return despite being the cashier who rang it up. I remained calm, concise, and non-confrontational. Titto interrupted me, raised his voice, gestured near my face, and incorrectly said I had waited “two weeks” when only eight days had passed. He refused to answer whether sales were final and threw cash onto the counter instead of processing the return to my credit card. No return policy was posted or communicated. Titto kept the receipt, so I do not have a copy. I am submitting this complaint to document the incident.
