- Christmas Eve and an elderly couple waiting for a bus on a freezing wet bench in the snow because the city of Boston will not put a new or adequate shelter up next to Boston housing, a YMCA and a high school. I’ve advocated for 2 years for one. There is one sitting unused at Carney hospital as we speak. I wanted to the city know citizens do not deserve this.
