- Doordash driver safety. The most recent incident was a scooter doing a 180 while on a sidewalk and coming within inches of hitting me directly in front of Cheesecake Factory at the Prudential. Countless incidents over the past few years, but the number of these scooters blowing through red lights, driving on sidewalks, driving on the wrong side of the road or the wrong way down one ways, and driving in bike lanes has only grown. This situation has been absolutely absurd for 2 years and requiring some insurance policy from the companies is not going to change anything - police actually need to do their jobs and ticket/suspend licenses for drivers to curb bad behavior
