- To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report an ongoing sanitation and public health concern at 159 Devon Street, Dorchester, MA 02121. For several weeks, a large accumulation of trash has been stored in the rear of the building. The volume of garbage is excessive and appears to be well beyond normal residential waste. The trash has not been properly contained or removed in a timely manner, and it continues to build up. As a result, there is a strong and persistent foul odor emanating from the rear of the property. The smell is noticeable from a distance and has become increasingly disruptive. In addition to the odor, the prolonged presence of this amount of trash raises concerns about unsanitary conditions, potential pest infestation, and overall public health and safety risks to neighboring residents and the surrounding area. This condition has remained unresolved for weeks, with no visible effort by the property owners to properly dispose of the waste or address the situation. Given the duration and severity of the issue, I believe this matter requires prompt inspection and enforcement to ensure compliance with local health and sanitation codes.
