- Construction trucks parked illegally for the last year at the top of Elwood Street. Yesterday and today this morning, they left a truck unattended on Putnam Street leaving them so the residences of Putnam and Elwood Street cannot get out there’s one way in and one way out that includes fire apparatus. Both streets are fire lanes and Putnam is the only emergency access for the police and fire to reach the Tobin Bridge if there’s an accident ! They are parking at the top of Elwood Street because they are gutting a house at the end of Chestnut Street on the right hand side . The rear entrance to the house is at the top at Elwood Street so they park there because nobody bothers them and they don’t get tagged. They literally just had four trucks parked on Elwood Street blocking the whole street. Please help.
