The vehicle appears disabled and should be towed and addressed immediately. This is not an isolated incident. This car is one of multiple vehicles recently struck at this same stop sign, reinforcing that this intersection is incredibly dangerous and poorly controlled. The broader issue is the overall design and lack of safety enforcement at this intersection: - Drivers frequently treat the stop as a yield due to the layout and sightlines - Legal U-turns occur regularly at this location, adding to driver confusion and risk - Vehicles pass through quickly to continue along W. 2nd St - The crosswalk spans the full width of the roadway, and pedestrians often cross to the median in stages This combination creates a serious hazard for pedestrians, vehicles, children, cyclists, and animals.
