- 👮🏻👮🏼 ATTENTION ATTENTION: BOSTON POLICE COMMISSIONER COX AND COMPSTAT, I would like to personally take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge Sgt. Satlia, Downtown for showing patients and genuine caring. In short, I met a veteran in my community and attempted to stay in close contact with him. This honorable voting veteran suffered from certain physical debilitating ailments. Yesterday when I went to go visit him, there was a bunch of mail outside of his door, I ringed his door multiple times and got no response. I became extremely concerned he may have fallen in his house or was incapacitated in his house. I reached out to Sgt Satlia Downtown, who offered mesuggestions and guidance on various ways to manage the situation and ascertain the possible location of this honorable voting veteran. Not only did the sergeant remain in contact with me and guide me he showed genuine honest caring humanity throughout the entire process. And he kept me calm. Thanks to Sgt Satlia, Downtown dedication and commitment to the residents of the City of Boston, I am happy and relieved to say, I/we located this honorable veteran. This honorable veteran was elated and relieved I sought him out and was checking on him. "Thank you so much for checking on me humanity still exists." Words of the veteran.
