Description: Just trying to understand what is happening on Williams Ave in Hyde Park. About 18 months ago, we had extensive utility and street work on Williams Ave. The subsequent repairs to the street were poorly done. Now, we have 2 more weeks of inconvenience, noise, and trucks. I am told that the street will be resurfaced later this year again. My street is already a major cut through from Rte 138. We suffer through traffic, speeding, and no help from the city. Even the police academy parks illegally on our street. How about an idea? Do the job once, and do it right. Survey the neighbors as to how to spend their tax dollars! How about some speed bumps? How about parking legally at the academy? How about some traffic enforcement?
