- : 304 Seaver Street, Boston, MA Location details: Front/main entry door (building common entrance) Issue/Title: Broken front entry lock — unsafe access / unauthorized entry Description (paste this): I am filing a complaint against Blue Hill Elm Estates (property management/landlord) regarding 304 Seaver Street, Boston, MA. The front/main entry door lock has been broken and not properly securing the building for approximately five (5) years. Because the front door does not lock reliably, unauthorized individuals are able to enter the building, and there have been repeated incidents of people forcing entry and/or entering due to the broken lock. This creates an ongoing safety and security risk for tenants. Blue Hill Elm Estates has been notified repeatedly over the years and has refused or failed to repair/replace the front lock and properly secure the entry door. Please dispatch Inspectional Services Department (ISD)/Housing to inspect, cite violations, and order immediate repairs so the entry door closes and locks securely. Request / What I want the City to do: • Send ISD/Housing to inspect the unsafe condition. • Order Blue Hill Elm Estates to repair/replace the front entry lock and hardware immediately. • Require the front entrance door to close and lock securely to prevent unauthorized
