Description: I am reporting a hazardous curb condition in Public Alley 419. The granite curbing at the entrance/exit of the designated parking area is significantly higher than the standard street grade. This extreme height difference creates a "drop-off" effect that causes vehicles to bottom out and strike the pavement aggressively when transitioning from the parking space to the alleyway. This is not only causing recurring damage to vehicles but also poses a risk of damaging the alley’s asphalt surface due to repeated impact. Please have a Public Works inspector evaluate this section of the curb for a potential "curb cut" adjustment or asphalt transition wedge to level the grade and prevent further property damage.
