- Please use pet friendly salt and/or sand on the sidewalks, especially the cross walks where we MUST cross with our dogs. This salt burns dogs paws and is incredibly NON environmentally friendly- which is shocking, this close to the harbor. There are 100-150 dogs in the condos at 42 8th St, not to mention the other buildings.
