- The heating in my apartment doesn’t work and my landlord is not responding to my messages about the problem. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment at 244 Kelton Street in Allston, and we have 4 radiators. All of them are completely open but the heat only comes on once or twice a day. The apartment will heat very rapidly, but then go back to cold just as fast. I got a thermometer and it shows that my bedroom is currently 57 degrees. The apartment gets so cold that even with socks on I begin to lose feeling in my toes if I stand on the wooden floors for too long. With the decreased temperatures this weekend we’re scared of our apartment getting even colder and getting sick.
