- Location: Medford St near the end, turning onto Chelsea St to access 13th St, Charlestown (near MGH Charlestown) Description: I walk to work daily and this location is unsafe for pedestrians. The sidewalk ends on Medford St and there is no accessible way to reach the sidewalk or pedestrian crossing when turning onto Chelsea St. I am forced to walk in the roadway, turn the corner onto a very busy street, and wait in the road to cross because I cannot access the sidewalk or crossing button. This is extremely dangerous. This area is not accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, or anyone with mobility issues. It is a daily route for people accessing MGH Charlestown buildings. Request: Please evaluate and fix sidewalk continuity, curb ramps, and accessible pedestrian crossing access at this location.
