- This was taken on Friday, December 30th in front of the Old State House building in downtown Boston, less than a three minute walk from Boston City Hall. I want to thank all the workers who have been working to get these streets and sidewalks shoveled but I will be honest and say this is the least prepared and worst the city has looked after a snowstorm in my 25 years in Boston. I’ve been all over the city this week and the amount of people I’ve seen fall due to ice slippage and unsalted sidewalks is really a lot. I understand it’s been extremely icey but elderly, disabled, and those with carriages are not able to walk anywhere right now.
